ABOUT US

Founded in 2012 by students at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID)

With the generous support and funding from the Canton of Geneva, and the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID).

Just Innovate is a team of young professionals and students from across the world, who believe passionately in the power of communities to generate innovative solutions using human-centred design approaches to problem-solving. Working with the motto to Connect, Inspire and Learn, Just Innovate follows design thinking methods to provide a range of educational workshops to foster social innovation and effective problem solving.

C4SI, the flagship program of Just Innovate, brings together Graduate students from diverse disciplines across Geneva  to collaborate and co-create through experiential learning methods. By partnering with a range of organisations from international organisations to local NGO’s solving real world problems, C4SI encourages participants to break out of existing moulds and instil an innovative spirit in their university, organisation or company.

Our Story

Every problem needs an unique solution

C4SI is a student-led, Geneva-based initiative consisting of an intensive hands-on education program for motivated graduate students and young professionals from any discipline. It brings together academic experts, professional mentors, leading international affairs and development organizations, NGOs, and private companies. C4SI offers graduate students the opportunity to learn how to develop social innovations to real-world problems through teamwork collaboration and design-thinking methodology, and equips them with presentation skills to pitch their ideas.

WHY C4SI?

Experience the Learning!

Unique Approach

The teaching process is based on the Design-Thinking methodology and its principles, to build up a new comprehension of problems and out-of-the-box ideas.

Collaborative Workspace

This approach proposes non-linear and iterative steps, including emphasizing, defining, ideating, prototyping and testing, allowing students to improve their proposals continuously.

Holistic Learning

As a result, the participants not only have a deep understanding of their challenges, but also refine their skills to address changes.
